This video is almost too impossible to believe but here it is.

This is video of 53-year-old concert violinist Dagmar Turner playing her instrument while undergoing brain surgery.

Turner was diagnosed with a brain tumor in her right frontal lobe which was dangerously close to the area of her brain that is responsible for coordinating delicate movements like playing the violin.

Doctors at King’s College Hospital in London say the distance from the tumor was as narrow as a credit card and they wanted to make sure the brain tumor removal did not impact her ability to play.

Well apparently it worked!

Doctors managed to successfully remove over 90% of the tumor without damaging Turner’s fine motor skills.

In fact Turner went home three days after the procedure.

She hopes to return to her chair at the Isle of Wight Symphony orchestra soon.
