We have an update to a story we told you about back in January.
Four-year-old Iowa girl Jade Delucia lost her vision after almost dying from the flu.
Jade became sick with the flu a few days before Christmas but her family didn’t realize it until Christmas Eve when she developed a high fever.
On Christmas day doctors told her parents the flu had caused significant damage to the part of the brain that controls vision and they didn’t know if she’d ever see again.
But recently Jade’s family noticed she was walking by herself to the bathroom without touching the walls.
And when they asked her where her uncle was, Jade walked right to him.
Her family says she is doing great and keeps on improving.
