Every year from March 13 through April 15 the nation celebrates Deaf Heritage Month.
This is a time to honor Deaf history and recognize the individuals who have made significant contributions to Deaf culture.
This month we are spotlighting three people who have played major roles in the history of Deaf culture and who continue to impact the culture today.
Our first story is on Friday, March 13th in honor of the 32nd anniversary of the Deaf President Now movement at Gallaudet University.
Join us on March 13 as we chat with Deaf artist and activist Amy Cohen Efron who was on the front line of the DPN movement in 1988 and continues the fight for Deaf rights today.
