Thursday officials announced that President Trump will deliver his convention speech in August in Jacksonville, Florida.
This comes after Trump’s disputes with Democratic leaders in North Carolina over wanting an event without social distancing rules.
Trump will make the speech at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena, which holds 15-thousand people.
The president is expected to hit the campaign trail long before that though, with his first stop in Tulsa, Oklahoma next Friday.
Tulsa, Oklahoma is known as a site of one of the worst acts of racial violence in the US.
The first rally is the same day as Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the US.
Political insiders think the president may use the Tulsa event to deliver a long-awaited speech on race amid the ongoing unrest.
