Many summer camps for kids were canceled this year because of concerns about the spread of Covid 19.
So Sign1News stepped in to offer an eight week virtual summer camp for future journalists!
We just completed our third week.
Our enthusiastic young campers are being exposed to news terminology, new experiences and using our news stories to improve their own storytelling skills.
Today we want to wish a very happy birthday to virtual camper Kenneth!
He is turning 15 years old today.
Oh…I remember being 15.
Seems like yesterday.
Kenneth is a regular Sign1News viewer.
He really knows what’s going on in the world and he shows up for virtual camp every day ready to learn more.
