Transcript

The zoo in Berlin welcomed a pair of newborn panda twins!

It the first time ever that a panda has given birth in Germany.

Meng Meng is the proud mother of two cubs.

The zoo says they are in good health and will be closely monitored.

The baby pandas will take turns spending about 2 to 3 hours at a time with your mama who is already showing lots of love for her new babies.

Pandas are notoriously difficult to breed since there is only a window of about 24 to 72 hours a year when females can get pregnant.

Congrats, mama Meng Meng Mimi!
