President Trump says Osama bin Laden son is dead.
The President issued a statement Saturday confirming Hamza bin Laden was killed in a US counterterrorism operation.
He didn’t specify exactly when or where, saying only it happened in the Afghanistan-Pakistan region.
CNN reported on July 31 Hamza bin Laden was believed dead, citing a US official as a source.
Some analysts are raising questions on the presumed death, pointing out Al Qaeda has not released a eulogy on the young bin Laden.
He was thought to be an emerging leader in the terror group.
The State Department believes Hamza bin Laden was in his early 30s.
