For the past three weeks coronavirus has been dominating the headlines.

So starting today Sign1News will be temporarily suspending its top five stories of the week, replacing it with coronavirus stories you may have missed.

State health officials in Illinois say an infant under the age of one who tested positive for the coronavirus has died.

The baby is believed to be the youngest person to have died from the virus in the United States.

On Friday the FDA approved a coronavirus test that can provide results in less than 15 minutes.

It uses the same technology as rapid flu tests.

Starting next week, 2,000 test kits per day will be delivered to doctors offices and hospitals.

The governor of Louisiana announced 33-year-old disability rights advocate April Dunn has died from complications from covid-19.

Dunn worked in the Office of Disability Affairs as the chair of the Louisiana Developmental Disabilities Council.
