The United Nations is celebrating its 75 year anniversary this year.
And they want to hear from you!
On Wednesday, June 10 at 1 PM Eastern time the UN is hosting a virtual global conversation.
Civil rights icon and former UN Ambassador Andrew Young will be the keynote speaker.
They want to hear citizens perspectives on topics like climate change, race relations and pandemics.
Officials with the UN reached out to Sign1News to make sure the Deaf voice is included in the conversation.
A bright young student from Atlanta Area School for the Deaf has been invited to be one of the youth moderators.
And sign language interpretation will be provided.
If you’d like to watch the conversation or join in, you must register for the event.
The registration address is right there on your screen.
We hope to see you there!
